> Spring is coming and it is time to order baby chicks! Click HERE to download an order form. Forms can be dropped off at S.E. Smith or you can call them in to 802-438-2221. All orders must be paid for when placed. Due to Vermont law, there is a minimum order of 6 birds (can mix and match breeds.) Meat birds are straight run, but all other chicks are sexed as pullets. The hatchery lists 90% accuracy on sexing. Orders must be placed by April 30th, and birds are scheduled to arrive around May 23rd. To see a description of our available birds, please click HERE
